Google Ads Analyst [CLOSED]

Full Time 1800.00 USD Type: Monthly

Damien Forsythe is a business consultant with specialisation and proven experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, mobile, branding, analytics & web design.

Over the past 10 years, he has worked across different sectors on multi-million dollar online ad campaigns as well as with startups & small businesses looking to grow their businesses online.

He holds a Business & E-Commerce degree from The University of New Brunswick (Canada) and has presented and taught at industry events and holds several certifications.

His customers opt for his services because of his exceptional quality, outstanding reputation, and positive referrals. He maintains a personal relationship with his clients, which often involves travelling to meet them or attending conferences together. Although the business currently operates through direct relationships and referrals, there is a plan to brand the agency within the next few months, transforming it from a freelance operation to a fully supported agency.

The company culture values a flexible work environment that empowers top performers to succeed. Damien believes in open communication, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas as key drivers of success. Team members meet regularly to discuss strategies, share ideas, and offer guidance; employee input is encouraged and welcomed. The company culture is such that it provides its employees with the autonomy to grow, express themselves, and achieve their full potential. Damien is committed to creating a work environment where employees will feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Damien Forsythe is seeking a highly motivated Google Ads Analyst to join his team. The primary purpose of this role is to support ads management; you will be responsible for managing ad campaigns, conducting keyword research, analysing ad performance, and creating reports.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with two world-class ad managers who will provide you with the necessary training and mentorship to excel in the field. You will also have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with an experienced business consultant.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to optimise ad campaigns
  • Monitor and analyse ad performance metrics and provide insights to improve results
  • Draft and deliver regular reports on ad performance to clients and team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to provide ongoing education and contribute to the team's knowledge base

You will work directly with the founder and current employee to support them in Google Ads account management. Communication will be a key component of this role, with daily communication through project management tools, primarily Asana. The client project boards are well-organised and easy to follow. You and the team will need to communicate regularly, with multiple discussions per week. As the current employee is located in Europe, the overlap between the time zones is manageable. The business is flexible with schedules and you can work with them in the morning US EST, so they don't need to work late into the night. However, availability until the end of the European workday is necessary.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for those seeking training, with two world-class Google and Bing Ads managers to work with daily, combining over 25 years of experience. While there is no specific training program, the role offers valuable training experience. Additionally, based on performance, attendance at the Germany SMX Advanced event in September, including travel and expenses, is a possibility based on positive performance.

As you join the company, you will have the opportunity to shadow the founder and current employee in their accounts, receive general training and onboarding, and support basic tasks as you get more comfortable with the work styles and tools. They are committed to providing the necessary support and training to help you excel in this role and develop your skills and knowledge.

This role offers the potential for growth and advancement. Furthermore, you will work closely with a range of businesses across various industries & countries.

For the role, we are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven candidate who is committed to delivering exceptional work and who is eager to grow and develop within the role. To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in Google Ads management, or experience managing Facebook ads or other PPC campaigns, with the ambition to learn quickly
  • Experience with Bing Ads is a plus
  • Basic Excel and Google Sheets skills
  • Ability to learn basic new tools and workflows quickly, including Asana, which we use to manage our workflow
  • Accountability, punctuality, and the ability to meet deadlines; these are the essential traits that we value in the team members
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the role; this is critical, as we will provide on-the-job training and development opportunities.

The business values stability, professionalism, and accountability in its team members. They prioritise a positive work environment and a team-oriented approach to collaboration. With this in mind, the role can be an excellent opportunity for junior candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the role. If you are passionate about digital marketing and looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

What’s in it for you?

  • $1800* per month for a full-time position
  • Fully remote role with flexible working hours, with the option to work full-time

  • Positive and supportive work environment, with a team-oriented approach to collaboration
  • The chance to work with a range of businesses across various industries
  • Opportunity to attend one PPC-related conference per year
  • Possibility of one team retreat in Europe per year
  • There is potential for career advancement within the company, with the opportunity to grow from a support role to a lead account manager. As you demonstrate your quality of work, the volume of successfully completed work, and the market conditions, your salary will increase accordingly.
