We have been operating since 2011 and have an agile team based all over the world being managed from our head office & warehouse in Adelaide, Australia. We aim to make our customers look good, and feel great but finding their own beauty routines and empowering them to be their best selves.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a full stack developer to maintain & improve our existing Shopify Plus site. the role will begin with some initial projects and tasks that we are wanting to implement, then will settle down to a regular improvement and maintenance schedule. the initial projects will likely take 2-3 months to complete. then expected ongoing work will be approximately 10hrs per week (or more based on the skills of the developer).
We want to work with someone who will complete the requested tasks, but also challenge our thinking on selected solutions- is there a better way? Why is it done like this? We want you to bring new suggestions and solutions on how to improve our site and customer experience.
Your main responsibilities as our Shopify Plus Developer will include:
- Maintenance of site & fixing any issues
- Using Scripts to enable new onsite features
- Convert our Theme to the new Online Store 2.0
- Increase page speed
- CRO improvements through A/B testing & recommendations
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ Years Shopify Development
- Excellent written and spoken English Skills
- Good understanding of PHP, JavaScript, and JQuery
- Understanding of Shopify app systems and integrations
- Ability to translate information about developement tasks to non-IT people
- Flexible
- Proactive
- Analytical
- Detail oriented
Bonus points for:
- Shopify Plus experience, in particular custom scripts
Tools we use:
- Slack for chat communication
- Asana for task assignment and organisation
- Google sheets/docs etc
Work schedule:
- Part time position (initially project based, then approx 10hrs per week)
- Flexible schedule (with occasional overlap with Australian (ACST))
