The team at Futurescope are looking for a talented generalist Full-Stack Developer to join their team and play an integral part of Futurescope’s technical team as they scale their company.
In this role, you'll get to work with the latest front-end frameworks (e.g. Next.js, React, SASS, etc.) and back-end technologies (Serverless, Graph Databases, Python) to craft entirely new features and products, building upon Futurescope’s extensive existing platform, with the full support of the team. The company has an ML stack built in house, designed with patent-pending tech that enables them to rapidly iterate and create new products and services. You will also maintain the existing codebases & collaborate with the team to establish and meet technical priorities on a daily basis.
In your first weeks at the company, the onboarding process will be organised for you to get acquainted with the codebase and the platform. Naturally, you will have an opportunity to take on some of the development related tasks.
In order to excel in this role, you need to have:
- 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer
- Expertise with ES6 Javascript and React
- 3+ years of solid experience with Python
- 3+ years of experience with back-end development, ideally
- Interest in cutting edge technologies and the future, ideally
- Openness to learning & curiosity to find out how things work
- Collaborative spirit and eagerness to work in a team
Brownie points for experience with Python, Next.js framework & experience with back-end technologies.
