About the role

Key Responsibilities:

Business Operations & Leadership:

  • Oversee and manage all operational functions within the business.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across all departments, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Build and optimize the company structure, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Conduct monthly coaching sessions with all department heads and assess performance against KPIs.
  • Develop and execute SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) across all departments for streamlined workflows.
  • Work closely with the GM to prepare for potential business exit and long-term growth strategies.
  • Proactively identify areas of inefficiency and propose innovative solutions that drive scalability and automation.
  • Ensure continuous business improvement by integrating AI-driven analytics, software automation, and cutting-edge tools to optimize operations.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data-driven reports to enable informed business decisions.
  • Analyze sales trends, market movements, and operational performance to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to track and improve key performance metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy to support strategic decision-making.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

  • Lead inventory planning, forecasting, and procurement, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Oversee Purchase Orders (POs), manufacturing, and supplier relationships from production to delivery.
  • Manage the Inventory Manager and the entire department, ensuring efficiency and cost control.  Negating pricing with suppliers to increase margins and profitability
  • Develop strategies for supply chain optimization to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Implement automated tracking systems and AI-driven forecasting models to improve inventory accuracy and predictability.

Marketing & Product Launches:

  • Oversee the entire Marketing Department, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Brand Managers to ensure successful product launches.
  • Coordinate project management and prioritization of product launches.
  • Ensure graphic design and creative teams meet deadlines and project milestones.
  • Ensure all departments have ample resources and lead generation strategies to execute launches effectively.
  • Develop and implement innovative marketing growth strategies, leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics.

Growth Beyond Amazon:

  • Develop strategies to expand into other marketplaces (e.g., Walmart, Shopify, retail channels).
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities beyond Amazon to diversify revenue streams.
  • Research and develop multi-channel sales strategies to drive business growth outside Amazon.

Continuous Improvement & Visionary Leadership:

  • Continuously analyze and improve operational efficiencies, cross-team communication, and workflow automation.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to scale operations effectively.
  • Foster a company culture that emphasizes dedication, innovation, and long-term vision.
  • Drive innovation through AI, automation, and cutting-edge eCommerce tools to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Demonstrate a commitment beyond traditional 9-5 work hours, ensuring business success at all times.
  • Proactively research and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and business growth.
  • Work with leadership to create a strong business plan for growing the company from a struggling phase to exceeding industry expectations.

About you

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Amazon Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Proven expertise in inventory management, forecasting, and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional teams (marketing, inventory, brand management, creative).
  • Deep understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem, product launches, and advanced operational strategies.
  • Experience scaling business operations and preparing for business exits.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with a growth-driven mindset.
  • Strong expertise in automation, AI tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to create, implement, and track strong business growth strategies, showcasing past success in revitalizing and scaling businesses.
