Initially called the 50k+ group, Million Dollar Sellers (MDS) quickly evolved into a powerhouse community. Gaining traction with more and more successful 7-figure sellers, it became known as the only group with vetted, full-time, and proven Amazon sellers striving to forge their way on a rapidly growing marketplace that offered no roadmap or guidance.

Due to the rapidly growing stature and size of the community, the core MDS team required expansion to support even more value to their members. Along with a robust leadership team of top seller members, MDS places even more emphasis on community and connection alongside continued business development.

The MDS team is looking for their next team member: a Partner Sales Associate.

In essence, you will act as an Executive Assistant who will support the MDS Partnership Manager with a wide range of tasks. As the Partnership Manager’s Executive Assistant, you will keep the manager on track and assist him with time-sensitive actions & communications, ensure a prompt response for all Partner communications and seamlessly manage communications and reporting between Partnerships and Events teams.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • Complete the post sponsorship sales administrative work to ensure a proper line of communication between the Partnerships team and Events team
  • Assist with communication between event sponsors, the events team, and the partner team to ensure all sponsorship deliverables
  • Proofread, edit, prepare and maintain correspondence, presentations, reports, schedules, agendas, meeting minutes, and more.
  • Coordinate, update, and maintain the Partner Manager’s calendar as well as assist with prioritizing and helping to keep the day running on track.
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and/or attend meetings; create and disseminate all related materials; compiling and maintaining meeting minutes.
  • Serve as the administrative representative of the company by phone, email, in-person, and virtually; focus on the continued growth and success of the business.
  • Coordinate all aspects of domestic and international travel (flights, hotels, transportation, conferences, etc.) and support the Partner Manager in having a smooth travel experience.
  • Create, administer, organize, and maintain office records, files, databases, and systems while ensuring data is efficiently organized, up to date, and appropriately safeguarded.
  • Plan, coordinate, manage, and/or participate in assigned special projects.
  • Assist partner manager in follow up calls
  • Ensure all partners receive their community plan package offers
  • Send any manual emails needed for the partner manager
  • Provide leads, package and follow up flow to partner manager weekly
  • Answer partner questions as needed
  • Assist MDS team whenever needed

Although the Million Dollar Sellers count on your experience and skills, daily 15-minute huddles, weekly 30-minute “same-page” meetings and Weekly Level 10 90-minute meetings will be organised for you during your first 30 days in the role. After the training, the “same-page” meetings & Weekly L10 meetings will take place to ensure your success in the role.

You will bring in-depth knowledge, expertise, and experience providing exceptional administrative support to the company’s Partner Manager. You’ll be taking all of those important clerical activities off of our Partner Manager’s plate so that he can focus on the vision, growth, and business development. You will also be creating, further developing, and overseeing all things associated with the company’s clerical operations function including systems, processes, and procedures. Being a small startup, there will be the opportunity to contribute, wear a variety of hats, and take ownership within your designated areas of responsibility.

To excel in this role, you need extremely strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to help the Partnership Manager in his day-to-day responsibilities. More specifically, you must have:

  • At least 2+ years of experience successfully providing a full range of high-quality administrative support to an executive plus a college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Customer service skills and/or experience
  • The ability to appropriately safeguard sensitive business information and work at the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills along with well-developed interpersonal skills, approachability, and diplomacy.
  • Experience with email management
  • Moderate technical experience with tools such as (Excel, Clickup, Facebook, & more)
  • Understanding of e-commerce business objectives
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to solve tasks independently
  • A calm demeanor, a resourceful can-do mindset, and the flexibility to embrace the new and unexpected that is common in a startup environment.
  • A great personality with a genuine desire to learn and grow

Beyond your experience, the MDS team are also looking for someone professional and reliable, someone that can follow through and hold accountability to the team. You will be responsible to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company and its vision to effectively and efficiently conduct duties and responsibilities. You will help organize details and ensure that required deliverables are consistently above and beyond.

Therefore, you are the right person for the role if you are a proactive self-starter, who takes ownership of assigned areas of responsibility and does so with minimal supervision and if you have a data-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.

Brownie points for:

  • Experience with ClickUp, Slack, Airtable, and/or G-Suite.
  • Strong reporting skills & experience
