Parvin Music works at the exciting intersection of music and advertising for some of the most recognized brands in the world. We help a select roster of national and international lifestyle brands and their agency partners choose, license, and compose the music that tells powerful stories through advertising. We've had the pleasure of working with brands like Corona, Coca-Cola, Maker's Mark, GMC Cars & Trucks, and more. The service we offer is high-dollar and highly specialized to each project. We are working to implement new frameworks and processes that allow us to ensure each project runs the most smoothly, while still keeping our expert, highly specialized service. The person in this role will help with this.


The Team

The core team consists of one full-time and two part-time employees, all working remotely. You would be the second full-time employee and working mostly with Sam in the beginning and then helping coordinate the work of other team members. 

Then we hire the right composers and musicians to create the music for each project. Other employees will be the main people communicating with them.

About the role

The mission for this role is to work closely with the CEO to ensure that the vision of the company is effectively executed.  This person is absolutely key to the growth and health of the business. You develop and continue to refine the internal structures that allow the CEO and others to easily flow through the process of birthing projects.  

Daily / weekly tasks may include: 

  • Help CEO schedule and manage her time
  • Format, schedule and post CEO’s articles to Linkedin, website blog (WordPress), and sending out the mailing list via MailChimp
  • Design and implement a file management and organizational structure for the business, across company platforms - Notion, Google Docs, Dropbox, Google Mail
  • Draft and send both invoices and contracts
  • Set up Parvin Music as a new vendor with new clients
  • Organize our clients’ financial and legal information internally to ensure we know the specifics of doing business with them
  • Streamline processes, suggest and implement new technologies and tools to make the company more efficient
  • Manage deliverables from others to ensure they are on time and accurate

…and more, based on interest and ability. The intention/hope is for this role to evolve more into an Operations Manager type position, making more strategic decisions about the growth and operations of the business. 



In the beginning, you’ll spend more time working mostly directly with the CEO to understand the business and the role. Over time, you’ll have more flexibility to work in the hours that work best for you, as long as work is completed within the agreed-upon time frames. The position is completely remote, and meetings will be via video call. You will need to have meetings during regular workday hours (we can coordinate best times). CEO splits her time between the Americas and Western Europe.

About you

To excel in this role, you need to have: 

  • At least four years of experience creating and running systems that keep a business going
  • Executive Assistant in a remote environment - at least two years
  • Experience taking things off the plates of founders/CEOs
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communications skills in English
  • Proficiency using mentioned tools (GSuite, Notion, etc.)
  • Tech savviness - ability and desire to innovate using technology (including AI)
  • Comfortable working remote and managing your own pace to meet deadlines
  • Ownership, responsibility, and reliability with confidence and a strong positive attitude
  • Strong intuition and ability to take initiative

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience working in advertising and/or marketing for large / lifestyle brands - at least two years
  • UX or UI experience
  • Light visual design experience (making blog posts and marketing emails look pretty; eye for design)

What's in it for you?

Pay: $1,300 - $1,500 USD per month*

Bonus opportunities after the first 6 months

$350 USD yearly stipend for home office costs

Full-time (up to 40 hours per week), semi-flexible hours

Flexible holiday / vacation time (paid)
