Come work side by side with a serial entrepreneur on a wide range of exciting projects. From running a market research platform to managing vacation rentals to exploring new opportunities. There is never a dull moment. The work is very diverse and not monotonous. Each day is different, and will require you to be proactive and able to “figure things out”.

There are four main components to this role:

  1. Managing a short term vacation rental on Airbnb/VRBO.
  2. Miscellaneous tasking for the primary business (FocusGroups.org).
  3. Research and reporting on new opportunities.
  4. Assisting with managing the CEO’s personal life.

You:

  1. Love checking off to-do lists.
  2. Have experience working in an operations/administrative/assistant role.
  3. Have experience working with American businesses and customers.
  4. Are highly organized.
  5. Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Can anticipate needs, possible issues, and work quickly to resolve them.
  7. Get to the point fast and communicate succinctly.
  8. Are honest, accountable, and authentic.

You will be:

  1. Managing a short term vacation rental (Airbnb/VRBO):
    1. Communicating with guests, including booking confirmations, responding to inquiries, answering questions, etc.
    2. Tracking income/expenses.
    3. Managing the calendar.
    4. Communicating with contractors such as cleaners, electricians, plumbers, etc.
    5. Manage listings; maintain up to date descriptions and details, respond to reviews, update photo’s seasonally, etc.
  2. Miscellaneous tasking for the business; reporting, helping with projects, etc.
  3. Research work - for business, investments, and personal.
  4. Booking appointments, travel arrangements for the CEO.
  5. Managing email inbox.
