I Like That Lamp is an online retailer of DIY ("do-it-yourself") lamp making kits and materials (find us at www.ilikethatlamp.com) Tasks required: - CONTENT MANAGEMENT: You will manage incoming articles & media from different writers and contributors, and be responsible for maintaining quality content on our blog. You'll post the articles to our blog, and on social media. - SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT: You'll manage a social media posting schedule, improve engagement with users, and respond to questions/comments on our Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Pinterest profiles. - CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Respond to customer emails received through our website, social media, and potentially some online chat and phone-based inquiries. Route orders as they come through the system. - CREATE THUMBNAILS AND GRAPHICS: You'll create composite images for blog posts, edit images for the different social media platforms using Canva. - PROJECT MANAGEMENT & ORGANIZATION: you'll manage all your work through online tools like Asana and Google Drive. You'll help to manage new projects like product launches, migrating to a Shopify store, etc. If you don't currently know how to do all these tasks but want to learn how, TRAINING IS PROVIDED. You must just be curious, motivated, and willing to learn. It will help massively if you have a personal interest in arts & crafts, or home decor! This is a full-time position with an expected 35-40 hours per week to complete all your work - sometimes more, sometimes less. You must have a good, reliable internet connection and at least 4 hours of availability during EST business hours (9-6PM EST) during the week for meetings and to provide customer service.
