About the role

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive traffic, generate leads, and achieve our business goals. You'll wear many hats, handling everything from paid advertising (Google Ads) to organic search engine optimization (SEO).

Here's a closer look at your key responsibilities:

• Paid Advertising: Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns to maximize return on investment (ROI) and generate qualified leads.
• Landing Pages: Design and develop high-converting landing pages that align with specific marketing campaigns.
• Analytics & Reporting: Analyze website traffic data and campaign performance to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
• SEO Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute an SEO strategy to increase organic website traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Content Creation: Craft engaging content, including short screencast tutorials for YouTube, to educate and convert potential customers.
• Backlinking & Outreach: Build high-quality backlinks to our website to improve domain authority and organic search ranking.
• Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor research to understand their marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.

This position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. You'll be working closely with me (Lennart, the founder of MailMergic), so strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

About you

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally with a focus on B2B marketing
• Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
• Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics
• Strong content creation skills, including the ability to write engaging copy and create screencast tutorials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Highly motivated and results-oriented with a data-driven approach
