This role includes working on marketing activities for three fast growing businesses.
Riley Oickle Investments, a consulting business where I help people buy their first income property and manage it profitably.
SMC Inc. provides home maintenance services (ex. window cleaning, pressure washing) to property owners in London, Ontario, Canada.
Simple Cash Home Buyers which is a real estate investing business which allows our customers to either buy properties from us or to buy properties with us.
We don’t believe in the traditional corporate hierarchy. We believe for a team member to truly feel heard and valued, they should always have a voice and that nothing motivates a team member more than having a seat at the decision making table.
Every member has a specific role and tasks they take the lead on, but we encourage collaboration.
The purpose of this role is to promote our brands by marketing them online through our companies’ social media platforms. This will allow more clients to engage and possibly buy, as well as encourage, more great employees to join our business.
This role will help our team to connect with more people in the London Ontario area and ultimately scale our business from 20 employees and 500 customers to 30+ employees and 1,000 customers.
You will be working with me, Riley Oickle as your direct supervisor, and we’ll be communicating daily to cover the agenda and process of outlined activities. I'm the co-owner of the businesses, and will be doing the training for the role from start to finish together with the current Digital Marketing Manager.
Working time will normally be 9am - 5pm GMT, Monday-Friday which includes overlap with the team in Canada (some flexibility is possible).

We envision this role to be the gateway into a more lucrative position in the future. Our companies are growing quickly, and we will need a lot of support in higher pay grade digital marketing activities along with recruiting positions over the next year.
The purpose of this role is to promote our brands by marketing them online through our companies’ social media platforms.
Your primary responsibility will be to use your skills to create appealing content for our social media pages and run marketing campaigns.
For the first few weeks you will be creating content on 3 separate Instagram and 3 separate Facebook pages, posting 4 times a week.
Creating content includes using Canva/Photoshop for graphics and making creative captions, for which you will have our guidance.
As you settle in there’s also an opportunity for you to be involved in all aspects of marketing including putting together email marketing campaigns and other activities.
Experience with content creation (ex. using canva and/or photoshop to create graphics, editing videos, making captions that go along with the posts)
Data entry experience
Good spoken and written English skills
Ability to listen and understand our instructions, and ask good questions
Ability to work both in a team and and independently
Is patient when working on their tasks
Gives constructive feedbacks to improve upon our ideas
High attention to detail
Is creative and super organised
Focused on getting things done rather than making them perfect
-Click Funnels experience
-Running ad campaigns in Facebook Business manager
-Using Meet Edgar, Facebook Creator Studio (or other social media automation tools) for post scheduling
