About the company

English with Lucy is an online language school with over 17 million followers across social media. It started 9 years ago as a YouTube channel and now consists of a tight-knit remote team of 15 people who adore creating educational social media content and incredible online English courses! We aim to teach English in a fun and structured way that provides people with skills that will ultimately improve all aspects of their lives (work/career opportunities, meeting new people and improving personal skills). If successful, you'll work closely with our CMO, William Simkins.

About the role

We are looking for a Data Assistant to join our Data and Marketing team. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of one of the leading companies in the online English language learning space. You will be responsible for entering and updating data, ensuring consistency, and supporting our team with data-related tasks. This position requires someone with impeccable attention to detail You will be responsible for:

• Performing accurate and efficient data entry to maintain and update databases
• Monitoring and analysing KPIs for course promotions and email marketing
• Following and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data entry and collection processes
• Other administrative tasks to help with course promotions. 

About you

To be successful, you must be familiar with:

• Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Google Docs
• Google Analytics (or similar tools)
• Following and creating SOPs

It is also essential that you have:

• High level of attention to detail - you must be able to spot and flag anomalies.
• Clear communication style. You can explain technical and complex topics in a way that is easy for non-technical team members to understand.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good level of English. We’re not looking for grammar perfection; we need to be able to talk and understand each other easily.
• Strong internet connection. This is an entirely remote position.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Data Visualization software (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with social media and paid advertising platforms (YouTube, Meta, Google)
• Experience with Email CRMs (Kit)

  This is a part-time role of 20 guaranteed hours per week. There is the opportunity for increased hours (subject to company performance.)
