Hey, Noel here, CEO and owner of JobRack. Yep that’s right, JobRack, the site you’re browsing looking for awesome remote jobs right now!

I need someone to help me do two key things:

1 - Attract and help jobseekers to get hired into great jobs

2 - Help our employers to get great success hiring Eastern European remote workers

So you see…. This is all about Hiring Success…. Hence the title ‘Hiring Success Manager’

Now there’s a whole range of tasks that this job involves, and a whole bunch more that you could get involved in depending on your skills and interests.

Ultimately I need you to do everything possible to help our employers and jobseekers to successfully hire and be hired!

Here’s a few key things that will definitely be involved:

  • Giving jobseekers advice on how to write great profiles and how to apply for jobs

  • Running facebook live events to our jobseeker audience giving them tips, answering questions and being the face of JobRack to the thousands of Eastern European jobseekers that are registered on JobRack

    • Yes that’s right you will be the ‘face’ of JobRack. You’ll be recording videos, you’ll be hosting live Facebook events and webinars so you need to be comfortable in front of the camera.

    • You don’t need to be an on-camera professional you just need to be able to speak clearly (in reasonable English) and able to be relaxed and casual talking to other people just like you.

  • Administering and moderating jobseeker registrations and offering friendly advice

  • Coming up with, and executing, Marketing campaigns and partnerships to grow our Jobseeker database all across Eastern Europe.

    • This might be through running local events at co-work spaces, getting ads on local job sites for specific countries, figuring out where great remote workers hang out and targeting them with content relevant to them or lots of other ideas that you’ll come up with.

  • You need to be comfortable with big targets, coming up with ideas and then making them happen (you’ll get guidance all along the way).

Just as important is supporting our employers, these are the people that pay us the money so we need to ensure they have an awesome experience every time, even if they don’t end up hiring on JobRack.

So from the very first moment you’ll be offering them support, being their key contact, they’ll know your name and you’ll be the go to person for any queries they have.

Don’t worry you’ll have full support from me and a range of SOP’s and information, you don’t need to ‘know’ everything, you just need to be able to give our customers confidence that you’ll own any questions or issues and find the answers for them.

Primarily over email you’ll offer guidance on hiring techniques or on particular specialities of jobseeker they’re looking for.

You’ll have a friendly and professional style as you give a great experience to every customer.

Attitude is everything! We need someone who is enthusiastic, creative, hard-working, highly organised and with great problem-solving skills to work on a variety of online support, marketing and hiring activities. We're going to be working closely together, hopefully for a long time so we need to be able to have some fun along the way.

Full support will be provided including a focused training period when you first start working with us.

If you had been working for us in the last couple of weeks these are a sample of some of the tasks you would have done:

  • Edit and administer existing blog posts on our website (WordPress)

  • Review jobseeker profiles and provide guidance to improve them

  • Identify potential candidates and attract them to specific roles through LinkedIn

  • Provide customer support over email (employers and jobseekers)

  • Found and implemented a tool to improve our customer support and email processes

  • Create and schedule Facebook Ads

  • Created images for ads, social media or our website using Canva

  • Use LinkedIn to find and contact prospective employers

  • Spent time reviewing every step of our website and our jobseeker and employer experiences to find ways in which we can improve.

  • Anything else we needed doing!

There is a range of other opportunities to get involved in other aspects of the business including financial bookkeeping, business reporting, and VA/EA tasks to support me, the CEO and Owner of JobRack in both my business and personal life. What you get involved in all depends on your skills and interests.

Tasks will be worked in our project management system (Asana), with communication through Asana, Slack and weekly calls over Skype.

We have detailed processes written up for how to do some of these jobs, and others need figuring out. Whenever there is a task that involves figuring something out you will be expected to study how to do it, come up with options and get approval before implementing it.

Requirements - What We Need From You

  • Excellent Written English - You will be supporting our customers and writing emails and maybe articles both for our employers, our jobseekers and for our website so excellent written English skills are essential.

  • High Attention to Detail - You will have significant autonomy to write and post information online to our website, social media channels and to our customers directly. You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately proof your own work. (I don’t enjoy proofreading so I’d love you to be able to do this yourself and not need me to always check your work).

  • Experience with online content creation - You’ll be using a variety of systems including Canva, Wordpress and ActiveCampaign to create content for our customers so you need experience and familiarity with these or similar tools.

  • Able to learn new software tools and systems quickly - We use a variety of systems including Canva, Powerpoint, Google Analytics, LinkedIn and others so you’ll need to be willing and able to learn new systems through a variety of self-taught methods.

  • Intelligent, Self Motivated, Highly organised and Confident in asking questions - You’ll be working remotely with communication across a variety of channels and task management through Asana and other online tools so we need to be sure that you ask questions if you are not sure of what to do..

  • Extremely organised – there are lots of different things you’ll be involved in and all need to be prioritised, managed and completed accurately, effectively and on time.

  • Hard-working – we don’t mess around here. We get a lot done very quickly. You will need to as well.

  • Available to work at least 4 hours of your working day between 7am and 4:30pm London Time

  • Ideally have 6 months + experience with marketing or related activities (including any of Facebook Ads, landing pages, email marketing, etc.)

  • Ideally, have experience with HR or hiring processes, sourcing and filtering candidates for roles.


  • Ideally this is a full time role however I’m also open to considering it being part time too, possibly for two people. So if you love the sound of the job but don’t want full time hours that’s ok.

  • If full time then it’s 40 hours per week with at least 4 hours worked between 7am and 4.30pm UK Time, Monday to Friday.

  • Some flexibility of your hours is required so you can run things like Facebook live events in the evening every two weeks or to be able to approve new jobseeker moderations over the weekend - there’s flexibility in this so you absolutely will NOT be working every day of the week.

  • Salary of $1000 per month (full time hours)

  • In the future we’ll be implementing a profit based bonus scheme, I want everyone to share in the success of JobRack as we grow

  • 2 weeks paid holiday for every six months worked.

  • Work directly for the CEO with lots of opportunity to suggest your own ideas, make improvements and learn new skills.

  • Access to hundreds of high-value training materials and courses (and some paid time to take them with an expectation you’ll match this with some of your own time).

You will be supported and always able to ask questions and be a key part of the companies progression. Your success means our success so it is in my interest for you to succeed and be awesome at what you do.

I expect you to be always on the lookout for ways to make JobRack better and to bring ideas both big and small forward regularly.

We want this to be a long term role for you that grows as we grow.
