Sakas & Company is looking for a driven and passionate CRM and Social Media Coordinator to join their team and help drive their business forward. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make a significant impact on the company's success.

As the CRM and Social Media Coordinator, you will be using your marketing expertise to develop and implement innovative strategies to reach new audiences. You will have the chance to use the latest marketing tools, including the SharpSpring CRM platform, to manage email scheduling, identify potential clients, and lead social media efforts. This role is 60% CRM management (email building and scheduling, data collecting, and lead generation) and 40% Social Media (recording, editing, and posting content).

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • Proofread, build, and schedule email newsletters in SharpSpring, including A/B testing.
  • Edit and proofread blog posts, emails, and client-facing documents. Please note: This is NOT a client facing role.
  • Suggest marketing automation to streamline processes.
  • Edit and schedule social media content with the owner and schedule approved content.
  • Contribute insights and ideas for projects, client engagements, processes, and more.

As the CRM and Social Media Coordinator, you will embark on a comprehensive training journey that will set you up for success in this exciting role. You will have access to detailed documentation to support your learning, and the duration of your training will be tailored to your specific background and experience in marketing automation and email marketing.

In the first 30 days, you will dive into the SharpSpring CRM platform and hone your skills with specific, hands-on repetitive tasks and achievable goals. As you become more confident and competent, your role will expand to include a wider range of CRM tasks and responsibilities. And finally, you will expand your skill set into social media marketing and content creation, further broadening your marketing expertise.

Throughout your journey, you will have the support of Kate, the Operations Manager and your dedicated mentor, who will be available for regular check-ins and one-on-ones to ensure your needs are met and you are on track to success. During your first week, you will get to know the business and the team, and familiarise yourself with your role and responsibilities. You will be provided with a wealth of resources, including company documents and the company website, to ensure a smooth transition into this exciting role. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and tech-savvy marketer to take their skills to the next level. As a CRM and Social Media Coordinator at Sakas & Company, you'll need to have:

  • 2-3 years of experience with CRM/marketing, with experience in more than one marketing automation platform
  • Video-editing skills
  • Competency with marketing automation, social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram), and CRM platforms
  • Competency with Google Workspace (Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Docs, and Sheets) and Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.
  • Reliable high-speed internet access and personal computer with enough power to support light video editing
  • Ability to learn new applications; knowledge of WordPress, SharpSpring, Circle, Slack, and Zapier is a plus
  • Ability to actively contribute to marketing and strategy meetings and document and share progress and status
  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to complete a DiSC or equivalent behavioural assessment
  • Patience and flexibility with changes in schedules and timings
  • Ability to track and follow up on tasks/communications, multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate clearly
  • Willingness to take on new tasks and desire to continuously improve professionally.

What’s in it for you?

  • Hourly rate of $10 - $15*/hour, depending on experience
  • 100% remote & part-time role with hours between 10-20 per week (initially 10-15, increasing as training continues)
  • Working schedule Monday to Friday, with overlap of at least 2 hours daily (M-F) with US Eastern Time business hours (9 am-6 pm EST)
  • Weekly 1:1 meetings with the manager (will be more frequent during onboarding)
  • Paid time for training, and a supportive work environment
  • Opportunity for an increase in hourly rate based on additional responsibilities and tasks
  • Possibility for future expansion of responsibilities to include coordination of sponsorships, speaking engagements, and sales support
