CreativeThread is a in house full service solution for DTC brands looking to scale their operations. Some brands we own and operate and some are friends and referral brands that come in. Our goal is to help unlock new levels of growth within each brand we work in. We work with a select few brands around 3-4 brands at at time in the Health/Wellness niches.

About the role

The Creative Strategist will play a critical role in developing and executing high-performing ad creatives that drive profitability and growth for our brands. This role is all about unlocking winning and profitable ads that directly contribute to the success of our campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, deep knowledge of creative strategy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our creative team, including video editors, graphic designers, and actor coordinators. You should have a passion for the creative process, love solving challenges, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

About you

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Development & Strategy

  • Develop innovative and data-driven creative strategies to produce winning ad creatives that unlock profitable growth.
  • Conceptualize and plan ad campaigns based on audience insights, platform trends, and brand objectives.
  • Work with raw UGC/B-Roll content to create high-performing creatives that engage target audiences.
  • Leverage competitive analysis and creative research to identify new opportunities for content improvement.

2. Collaboration & Production Oversight

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including video editors, graphic designers, and actor coordinators, to execute creative concepts.
  • Provide clear creative briefs and direction to ensure alignment with business goals and brand voice.
  • Offer timely feedback on creative drafts, refining ideas to maximize ad performance.

3. Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze creative performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Test variations of creatives (e.g., hooks, visuals, messaging) to uncover what drives the best results.
  • Implement iterative improvements based on data insights to scale successful campaigns.

4. Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Suggest and implement strategies to improve workflows, creative testing processes, and team efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and new tools to enhance creative performance.
  • Continuously refine internal systems for creative storage, review, and execution.

5. Reporting & Communication

  • Report on creative performance, insights, and recommendations in regular team updates.
  • Clearly communicate findings and ideas to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in creative strategy, preferably within e-commerce and DTC environments.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful ad creatives and examples of driving profitable growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results within tight deadlines and achieve performance goals.
  • Familiarity with working on UGC/B-Roll content and the ability to identify high-potential creatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative teams, including video editors and designers.
  • Ability to suggest process improvements and implement strategic changes.
  • Expertise in creative strategy for paid ad platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google).
  • Strong understanding of ad performance metrics and optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with UGC content, B-Roll analysis, and creative testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Drive, Slack, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Passionate about delivering innovative, high-performing ad creatives.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Attention to detail and ability to provide constructive feedback and suggestions.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and work independently.
