I am a Digital Analyst, Technical Marketer, YouTuber, and the founder of MeasureSchool.com – an education company for marketers to learn all about Tracking, Analytics, and Marketing Tech.
Since 2014, our website, YouTube channel, and online courses have grown and become an authority for technical-minded and data-driven marketers all around the world. We are gearing up for another exciting year. Do you want to come along?
MeasureSchool is a small (remote) company built from our passion and love for data. This means it’s the perfect place to learn a ton, try out new ideas, and grow something together.
We are searching for a full-time Content Assistant, who can help us with day to day tasks in handling our content production line for our website and YouTube Channel. This is an “intermediate level” position. You will need to be able to take responsibility for each task we give you and be able to communicate with our team well, keep deadlines and think for yourself.
You will also need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage and prioritize your tasks well. Ideally, you have an interest in the analytics and digital marketing space, experience in media production and a desire to learn more.
Creating & scheduling social media posts
Uploading and optimizing videos on YouTube
Upload new lessons for students into our Worpdress website
Ordering and editing video captions and transcripts
Light video editing with Adobe Premiere
General Website management (WordPress)
Adding/removing students from our private Facebook group
Email marketing preparation (with ActiveCampaign)
Assisting core employees with tasks fulfillment
Online research & data entry
Someone who has worked as a remote VA before (ideally in marketing) with a nag for media production.
You will also need some of these skills:
– You need to be a communicator
Not only will we communicate a lot in the written form (Email, Chat) but you will also be checking and writing content for our marketing material. A perfect (preferably native) writing skill is therefore necessary.
– You need to have your own drive
Working remote means freedom of choice when it comes to your workplace, but also means there is not much hand-holding involved. We, therefore, need you to be self-disciplined, hardworking and driven to have an impact. When you hit a roadblock you’ll have no problem communicating it to the team, staying open and transparent, and expressing your ideas freely.
– You need to be dynamic
The team is small and plans change every day. This requires you to be quick on your feet and be able to act on the fly when problems arise, or other teammates need help.
- You need to be able to work in a European Time Zone
The Team is currently mainly based in Europe and we work 8am – 5pm GTM+1 – This is a remote position, but we will need to have an overlap of at least a few hours a day to communicate and get the most out of our working relationship (including learning from each other and collaborating).
- You have experience in media production
Editing text, video and images are not a foreign language to you. Sure, you don’t have to be a designer, but a bit of experience in media production will be very helpful in your work to support our team members. *Please use the word "bazinga" in the opening line of your application to make sure you read the whole thing.
