In 2022, Toniiq embarked on a mission to revolutionize product transparency in the supplement industry. By providing fully published, traceable third-party testing reports for every batch they produce, Toniiq has raised the bar for accountability and trustworthiness, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the field.

Toniiq is looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.

This position involves close collaboration with the Financial Controller on a daily and weekly basis, as well as active engagement with the IT team to streamline processes within their domain.

As a Bookkeeper at Toniiq, you will:

🧾 Reconcile cash accounts daily.

📦 Reconcile e-commerce sales through platforms like Shopify and Amazon in Odoo, ensuring accuracy between received credit card payments and charges.

📑 Reconcile the "Customer Orders Shipped Not Invoiced" account.

💼 Ensure the reconciliation of all cash and loan accounts on the balance sheet.

📊 Guarantee accurate reconciliation of all e-commerce sales.

🗓️ Assist the Controller in the month-end closing process.

Working Hours ⏰

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. While you can choose your hours, you have to be available between 8 am and 12 pm Eastern Time (EST) for company and department meetings, ensuring at least 4 hours of overlap with the US EST time zone.

During the onboarding process, you will have access to Odoo-specific training videos, with the opportunity to pursue Odoo certification, fully supported by the company. Additionally, you'll dive into an in-depth review of Toniiq's products and operational procedures to become well-versed in the company's mission and operations.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

Bank Reconciliations Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.

• Account Management Skills: Take on accounts payable responsibilities.
• Knowledge of ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
• Microsoft Excel Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
• Accrual Accounting: Familiarity with accrual accounting.

• Independent Worker: You're a self-starter who can work autonomously, meeting deadlines and proactively addressing challenges along the way. You're not afraid to ask questions, bring up issues and propose solutions.

Brownie Points for:

• Manufacturing Industry Experience: Previous experience in the manufacturing industry,
• US Sales Tax Knowledge: Understanding US sales tax regulations would be advantageous,
• Odoo Experience,
• Amazon Sales Experience.
