About the Role

The content you will be creating is related to IT services, cybersecurity, and technology used for business. Our clients provide managed IT services or augment the IT team for medium-sized businesses, all the way up to enterprise level.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our fully remote team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative to solve problems. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills (U.S. English) as well as some technical savvy.

The role will involve communication with our U.S.-based CEO and/or European project manager. We require 1 hr of overlap with our 9AM-5PM EST schedule to make sure that we have time to collaborate. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own time management and be able to work independently.

The content writer position is a new role within our company. The position will begin as a part-time role, working 20 hours per week. However, as our company grows and we take on more clients, the become a full-time position for the right candidate, working 40 hours per week.

Within this role you will work on:

  • Generate topic ideas for IT service-related blog articles
  • Basic research on topics related to managed IT Services
  • Write factually accurate blog articles using the assistance of AI
  • Creation of quick blog articles that are used for backlinking to our clients' sites
  • Write Site pages for various websites (service pages, about us, contact, etc)
  • SEO optimization using Surfer SEO
  • Communication through Email / Slack - and sometimes through our project management software (Clickup)

Attributes We're Looking for:

  • Accountability and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work quickly and generate good, SEO-optimized content.
  • Initiative- can you learn on your own and make decisions?
  • Good organizational skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Technical Savvy- The ability to learn and use different software tools and platforms

Platforms We Use:

  • Jasper AI writing software
  • Surfer for SEO optimization
  • Grammarly
  • Click-Up for project management: If you've used Asana, Trello, or others... You should be able to learn this quickly
  • WordPress for posting content
  • Slack
  • Google Workplace tools- Gmail, Drive, Meet, Docs, Sheets, etc.
