(About you)

Are you a creative person? Resilient, and have an eye for detail?

Can you astonish our clients with your excellent customer service skills?

Are your project management skills flawless?

If so, you might be the person that Plans 2 Extend are looking for.

Applicants should have a construction background and relevant AutoCAD or similar software experience.

Qualifications are not mandatory but a relevant Architectural Technologist qualification would be favourable.

You need to be a friendly, fun & approachable person, and want to help our clients realise their dream and turn it into a reality.

(About the Role)

You should have a good level of understanding regarding the following;

• Building Regulations for UK residential developments
• Uk planning knowledge is favourable
• AutoCAD or similar software experience required. (Experience on HBXL Plans Express preferred but not essential as training will be provided).

The role will include carrying out the following;

• Producing Initial designs & undertaking review sessions with clients for multiple projects at any one time
• Preparing and submitting planning applications
• Preparing Building Control documents & obtaining approval whilst liaising with the team at Plans 2 Extend & it’s collaborative partners
• You will be working alongside a team member at Plans 2 Extend, and fortnightly reviews will be undertaken by the owner Chris

Some programs we use here at Plans 2 Extend;

• Adobe/word/one drive/outlook/Monday/plans xpress/AutoCAD. We expect no training to be required in AutoCAD, training is offered on Plans Xpress & our project management program ‘Monday’

Benefits & Perks (What’s In It for the Candidates)

To start you will be working a 40-hour week - starting salary @ £17’500.00 GBP per annum, which will grow as you do, a bi-yearly review will be undertaken to clarify progress & salary increases.

Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks and a voluntary company pension is offered to employees

There is opportunity for the right candidate to move into a senior technician role where salary will be increased to suit. 1 proposal a day is expected from senior technicians, where a junior role would take around 2 days per proposal.
