A little about the role
As a Community Manager, you will manage and oversee our community, helping us deliver high-quality content and excellent customer service on a consistent basis. The right person is a project manager type with a strong background in customer service and email management.
We are looking for a self-starter who can learn projects and then manage them independently, understands the importance of following up and following through, and believes no tasks are too big or too small. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy and can learn/master new technology/software quickly, and is very attentive to detail/accuracy.
Research statistics on a US real estate market to be included in our monthly market report
Send daily and weekly emails to members [experience in MailChimp a huge plus]
Manage community calendar and events - make sure members know about all events and that a reminder goes out
Make sure all inbound leads are being added to our CRM [via Zapier, plugins, etc]
Handle community forum issues [Invision Community]
Community management [welcome new members, oversee payment/subscriptions, add events, Zoom recordings upload, create zoom events, update the dashboard, uploading videos to Vimeo, making sure Mailchimp lists are correct]
Create and manage the process for onboarding new members into the membership
Buy gifts for closings
Update Membership Site [experience in WordPress a plus]
Create and maintain a customer service system
Troubleshoot technology challenges
Publish blog posts on Wordpress

A very strong background in customer service and email management
A solid understanding of copywriting and editing, as it relates to marketing materials, is a plus but not required
You have the constant desire to be collaborative and work closely with everyone on our team
You have the willingness to learn, take, and give direction when required
You have the ability to work on tight deadlines
You’re comfortable with working and collaborating on a remote basis
You are a whizz at Google Suite
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with exceptional etiquette and finesse

In the past, you might have...
4+ years of office administration experience in a service industry
You have experience working as a community manager, administrative assistant or office manager in a fast-paced environment (we’re talking lightning-fast, priorities changing weekly kind of industry)
This is a full-time position, fully remote working with our global team. We primarily operate on the PST time zone but will only require 4 hours per day of overlap with our 9 am-5 pm schedule to make sure we collaborate. The flexibility to make your own hours is a key benefit to joining our team.
