What you will do

• Develop and improve our e-commerce frontend (Vue.js/Nuxt.js), as well as our backend systems (node.js)

• Engage in decisions ranging from UX Designs to Backend architecture stuff together with our Tech Leads and explore new technologies

• Improve scalability and technical performance of our API and its response times

• Cooperate with other skilled developers, product managers, quality assurance and designers to ship new features and components

• Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our tech community

• Improve and develop our store backend with several microservices like Product Information Management (PIM), Order Management System and other Microservices

Who you are

• MVP-focused & very good coding skills in JavaScript of minimum of 3 years

• You have experience in building backend API’s as well as creating user centric customer frontends

• Practical & recent experience with node.js, Vue.js/Nuxt.js as well as for the backend node.js, Express

• Good technical understanding of API’s in general, even better GraphQL API’s

• Comfortable with writing ES6 or TypeScript

• Experience in building complex customer-facing products coming along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• You’re passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code

• Used to work in an English-only speaking environment (written & spoken)
